Amber Butterfly

This 19" silver wire-wrapped pendant necklace and earring set is made of genuine amber beads, orange aventurine, dyed fire agate, accented with honey-colored Czech glass beads, silver and finished with a lobster claw clasp. Part of our insect series, this one-of-a-kind biggs jasper stone pendant is hand-carved and polished, and the butterfly design incorporates the beads used in the necklace and earrings (butterfly approx. 2" x 2 1/4"). Amber is fossilized resin of coniferous trees of the Oligoncene geological epoch, some thirty million years ago. Amber is believed to enhance love, wisdom, energy, patience and strength. Orange aventurine is believed to be great for healing, bringing happiness as well as dissolving creative blocks (also encouraging originality).
